BeerHawk wants to spread the word about online world beer sales
A new online beer seller is looking at how they can revolution the craft beer market within the UK. Mark Roberts and Chris France who previously were a part of Proctor & Gamble and Laithwaites Wine have now launched their own website titled www.BeerHawk.co.uk that is run from Harrogate in North Yorkshire. The aim o f the new website is to help UK consumers gain access to craft beers from around the globe.
The pair has already managed to compile 200 beers from all over the globe and is offering their UK customers free delivery if they spend more than £50 which is the first offer of its type in the UK. The duo are hoping that their website will have an edge over other delivery websites that add on charges for their beers and make it too complicated to get quality brews into the UK.
Roberts explained that they simply love to drink great guest ales and beers while they are out at the pubs, but were frustrated to find out how hard it is to try to get the same brews for drinking at home. They found that most supermarkets offered a poor range and the websites that do sell beer oftentimes were very hard to use or had super high delivery charges tacked onto the order.
Therefore, they created a secure website that allows customers to look for their own favorites while also discovering new ales that they might want to try. He added that it also allows them to hand pick their own beer club selection that is based on quality, value, and beer style for those who want to try a new flavor but are not sure where to get started with the craft beers.
