New Career for the New Year

For those people who are thinking of a change of career direction for 2014 and are perhaps more concerned about following their passion for food rather than the 9 to 5 grind may want to consider the UK’s leading School of Artisan Food which is in a position to provide a gateway that will give you opportunities that will defiantly help to get you started.
The School, which is a registered charity, based in Nottinghamshire, runs professional courses for those interested in baking and patisserie, butchery and cheese making. All of the courses are delivered by expert tutors who are keen to share their knowledge and keep traditional artisan skills alive at home or in a commercial environment.
The School runs an intensive 10-month Advanced Diploma which is now highly regarded in the baking industry. Graduates from the course have either set-up their own successful artisan business or gained employment in the artisan food industry. For those with some experience there are advanced courses in baking and patisserie, butchery and professional cheese making courses. If you have the passion but need to develop your skill base, there are a whole host of introductory courses to inspire and get you started.
Joe Piliero, Director at the School said: “We’ve had a lot of students, past and present, who are unhappy in their jobs and decide the time has come to do what they really enjoy and that is often linked to their love of food and cooking. We not only teach the practical artisan food skills but we also have courses that can help you set-up your own business.”
Previous Advanced Diploma students who went on to set up their business include:
