Who will be the Chef of the Future 2014? The challenge is now open
The vegetarian restaurant Cordon Vert vegetarian cookery school has sent out a challenge to all chefs, whether they be carnivorous, vegan or veggie. They are all invited to take part in their Chef of The Future Contest for 2014.
It doesn’t matter of you are an enthusiastic amateur or a professional out to prove what you are capable of. If you think that you have what is takes to be a champion then the time is now to begin your bid to be named as the Cordon Vert Chef of the Future 2014. Wednesday the 21st Msy of the live final and the 4 chefs who make it there will be making a 3 course meal for 4 people in just 3 hours. You need to have your written application in by the 16th April.

Alex Connell, Principal Tutor at Cordon Vert, said, “We would like to challenge all chefs to take part in Chef of the Future 2014, Cordon Vert’s annual vegetarian cookery contest to find the best chef in the UK. We are in our sixth year of the competition and have continued to see some unbelievable food being created by our finalists each time. We are looking forward to this year’s contest especially as the final will take place during National Vegetarian Week 2014. Dishes should be presented to the highest standards, and should be able to hold their own for vegetarian and meat-eating audiences alike.”
The judging panel consists of Alex Connell, Cordon Vert Principal Tutor, last year’s champion Gary Ashley and industry figures yet to be announced.
