A mad frog and an Englishman….go fishing
Jean Christophe Novelli would probably be regarded as the favoured French chef in the country and he has recently released a new book which is titled, A Mad Frog and an Englishman…Go Fishing. This book details the various recipes that he has created for the fish that he caught off the coasts of Cumbria.
He has created this book in collaboration with Gerard Richardson, who is known for being a coffee merchant and fine wine expert. This is the second time that the pair have worked together.
Jean Christophe has been going to the Lake District for several years in order to source food and is always impressed by the quality of the foods produced within the county. Having found great success with his first recipe book of the area A Mad Frog and an Englishman…go out in the Cumbrian Sun, Jean Christophe wanted to repeat the experience, this time exploring the great variety of fish available in the Cumbrian coastal area, and to create new and exciting recipes to reflect his haul.
Jean Christophe will join Gerard to launch A Mad Frog and an Englishman… Go Fishing on Wednesday 13th June at the BBC Good Food show on the Mad Frog Publishing Stand F1250.
