For one week only Jean-Christophe Novelli becomes the resident chef on ‘What’s Cooking?’

Jean-Christophe Novelli, generally considered to be Britain’s favourite French chef, is to join Lisa Faulkner and Ben Shepherd every day on Channel 4 for one week starting on Monday 18th March. He is planning to cook up a storm and the recipes he creates over the week are set to be both flavoursome and exciting and will include both new and simple dishes.
Novelli will be demonstrating how to create hearty main courses including miso steak with chilli chips, spaghetti carbonara, aubergine curry and tasty mushroom pancakes. He will also be displaying his talents in putting together a healthy sizzling sausage rice salad and a crispy turkey with lemons dish.
Jean-Christophe, who is renowned for putting a spin on seafood, will also be cooking chilli crusted salmon with hot potato salad and showing us how to put together a simple chilli and mango prawn salad.
Finally, he will introduce two new recipes for the summer, aubergine hummus with homemade flat bread and a delicious tropical fruit crunch.
Tune into ‘What’s Cooking?’ on Channel 4 everyday this week, Monday 18 March to Friday 22 March at 12.35pm for further details on all of the above recipes.
