You can now get your nomination in for the 2013 Scottish Curry Awards

Once again, the Scottish Curry Award are aiming to showcase the best curries that Scotland has to offer and the sixth annual event is to be held at Glasgow’s Thistle Hotel in Monday 10th June.
The awards, which have gone from strength to strength since their inaugural event in 2008, are set to be another sizzling success. They are a true celebration of the favourite dish in Scotland and are give praise where it is due to the curry loving folks who are involved in every aspect of this very lucrative industry and deliver these delicious treats for our palates.
It seems the beloved curry dish has become somewhat of a national treasure with over 10,000 Indian Restaurants and takeaways throughout the UK serving around three million mouth watering meals per week making it a multi billion pound booming industry.
Nominations are now open and the public are encouraged to nominate their favourite curry restaurants and takeaways to help them be recognised as the best in the country.

- Chef of the Year
- Takeaway of the Year
- Restaurant of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Curry King or Queen 2013
- Best of Glasgow
- Healthy Curry Provider
- Maitre D’ of the Year
- Best Restaurant Design
- Best Marketing Campaign
A staggering 7,000 plus nominations were received last year. The 2013 awards will see the edition of four new categories that are set to be just as competitive.
