Food festival in Norfolk set to run for 6 weeks from the 1st September
The EDP Adnams Norfolk Food and Drink Festival is an event that is going to be taking place in Norfolk and it starts on the 1st September. This year the festival is going to run for an incredible six weeks and will be ending with a specific Aylsham Food Festival which takes place from the 5th to 7th October.
The chairman of the festival is Richard Woolliams has commented, “There are many events that are taking place as part of this festival and we want to make sure that people have access to as much information about it as possible. We have decided to use QR codes in order to get the information to people.
QR codes can be scanned by smart phones and will give people relevant information about the festival. They will also allow vendors to provide information with special offers that are taking place during the festival.”
The QR code which will allow people to get information will be present on the festival’s website which has recently been revamped. There are also a wide range of other promotions that are being organised in order to promote the festival including giving away 50,000 beer mats.
The festival is significant and the most important events happen on the weekends which occur all over Norfolk. The six-week event kicks off with the North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival, which takes place on the first and second of September.
Mr Woolliams continued, “It’s only six weeks now until the festival begins and it is not too late to organise a specific event if you want to be part of the festivities. If you want to find out more about the festival and what is happening during it, you can visit the website. You’ll also find plenty of promotions here related to the event.”
